Matthew Yunger

Matthew Yunger, CPA, CA, joined Sharno Group as Senior Director of Finance in February 2022, bringing over seven years of experience from public accounting. Matthew transitioned to Sharno Group to assume a senior finance leadership role, dedicated to supporting the organization’s accounting, tax, and investment strategies.

Before joining Sharno Group, Matthew gained extensive expertise at Crowe Soberman LLP, where he served as a Manager in the Audit & Advisory group. In this capacity, he provided tailored financial solutions aligned with the unique goals of not-for-profit organizations, in addition to his work with clients in real estate and manufacturing sectors. His responsibilities included overseeing and reviewing audit, review, and compilation engagements, as well as developing personalized personal and corporate tax strategies.

 

Matthew obtained his CPA, CA designation in 2018 and holds a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies with Honours, specializing in Accounting from the University of Western Ontario.
