Bio
Lorri Detta, CPA, CHRP, has spent more than 20 years working in finance and leadership roles, primarily within the non-profit and charitable sector. Her career has included organizations focused on affordable and accessible housing, youth services, food security, and community-based supports. Lorrialso brings earlier experience in architecture and construction, complementing her financial background with a solid understanding of housing and capital development.
As Senior Director of Finance at Raising the Roof, Lorri provides financial leadership and stewardship across the organization and its affordable housing initiatives. She is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, reporting, audit and compliance, internal controls, risk management, and supporting the financial sustainability and continued growth of the organization.
Outside of work, Lorri has volunteered with organizations serving people experiencing homelessness, homeless and at-risk youth, and other at-risk communities. She strongly believes that everyone deserves access to safe, affordable, quality housing and the security, stability, and contentment that comes from having a safe place to call home.
