After completing education at University of Waterloo and Concordia University in Montreal, Leslie has spent 20 years in the non-profit and charitable sector.
In her role as the Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships at Raising the Roof, Leslie is responsible for capital development for the organization's operations and RTR equity ownership housing projects, external communications, relationships with external stakeholders, data and evaluation, internal and external polices, government relations, consulting for development management clients regarding capital stack development, and other strategic initiatives for RTR expansion and operations. Since joining Raising the Roof to implement the shift from research and policy to developing and owning affordable housing in 2020, Leslie has raised more than $42 million for Raising the Roof's affordable housing projects and operations.
When she is not working hard to end homelessness in Canada, you can find her spending time with her family or volunteering for local community initiatives in Niagara.
