The joyous camaraderie of a rib-aching, eye-tearing group laugh is one of life’s simplest, but greatest pleasures. It makes us feel wonderful and creates a special bond among those sharing the moment.

With generously donated performances by some of Canada’s most talented comedians, and with the help of Presenting Sponsor, Franklin Templeton Investments, Raising the Roof’s Annual Comedy Nights take place in Halifax in March and in Toronto in April. 	"The money raised from comedy events in Toronto and Halifax goes to local charities working to reduce homelessness. Our focus is on prevention. We fund programs that support long-term solutions to homelessness and are ultimately aimed at helping people all across Canada find and keep safe, adequate housing.
