Research Report

Our national research report Youth Homelessness in Canada: The Road to Solutions:

• describes the experiences of 689 street-involved youth in three Canadian cities;
• captures input from youth-serving agencies, policy makers and researchers from across the country – the first time in Canada that there has been such broad consultation on this issue;
• presents a snapshot of youth homelessness in Canada today;

• features nine recommendations for long-term solutions to youth homelessness.

Hidden Homeless Campaign

Raising the Roof’s national “Hidden Homeless” public education campaign included television and radio PSAs, print ads and a dedicated website aimed at dispelling misconceptions about who homeless Canadians are. 

Shared Learnings on Homelessness

This bilingual Raising the Roof website providing tools, resources, and information-sharing for frontline staff, volunteers, and others working to alleviate homelessness in their communities. It includes a directory of over 1200 community homelessness agencies across Canada.  www.sharedlearnings.org
